Privacy Policy
Welcome to ZyDevKit. We take your privacy and data security seriously. This policy explains how ZyDevKit handles your data and how we protect your information.
What we collect
ZyDevKit does not collect, upload or sell your personal information by default. Most data stays only in your local browser, including color history, saved palettes, custom User-Agent and device templates, API debugging history, CORS results, page-analysis records, and your preferences.
Unless you explicitly enable an optional cloud-sync or account feature, this data is never uploaded to our servers.
Browser permissions
activeTab: access the current tab only when you click the extension. storage: save your local settings, color history and templates. scripting: run the necessary analysis scripts on the current page.
tabs: read tab info and capture colors. cookies: cookie debugging, only when you enable it. ZyDevKit never reads the content of all pages without your action.
Local data
ZyDevKit is local-first by design. Color history, request history, UA rules, device templates, page-analysis cache and tool settings are stored locally. You can clear them any time from the settings page.
Page content
When you use the color picker, page color analysis, SEO check, CORS check or performance analysis, ZyDevKit may temporarily read parts of the current page such as CSS colors, title, meta info, resource counts, response headers or performance data. This is used locally to produce results and is not uploaded by default.
API debugging data
When using the API debugger, avoid saving sensitive tokens, cookies or keys on shared devices. ZyDevKit keeps request history locally and you can clear it any time.
What we never do
We do not sell your data, inject remote scripts, or read passwords and banking details. High-risk permissions are optional and explained where they are requested.
